Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Future You (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our application. This Privacy Policy explains Future You’s information practices and the choices available to you.

We collect information you provide directly, information generated as you use the app, and limited technical data required to keep the service secure and reliable.

When you create an account we collect your email address, authentication identifiers, and any profile details you choose to add (such as your name and goals).

• Uploaded selfies are used to generate the AI images and videos you request, and are sent for AI processing only after you allow AI Data Sharing.
• Photos are never sold.
• Photos are never shared with advertisers.
• You can delete uploaded photos and generated images at any time from your Profile.

Future You uses AI models to create artistic visualizations inspired by your goals. Generated images are stored in your private account and are accessible only to you unless you choose to share them.

Future You uses the following third-party AI service providers:

• Lovable Labs Incorporated, which operates the AI Gateway through which Future You’s AI requests are processed.
• Google LLC, which provides the Gemini and Veo AI models used by Future You.

When an AI-powered feature needs it, the relevant information is sent from Future You’s servers through Lovable’s AI Gateway to Google.

Depending on the feature you use, this may include:

• Photos, selfies, and reference images you upload
• Your first name or name
• Goals, categories, target amounts, progress, and target dates
• Savings, investing, debt, and other financial-planning information you enter
• AI Wealth Coach questions
• Talk to Future You messages and conversation history
• Reflections and journal entries
• Onboarding answers
• AI memory and context used for personalization
• Streaks, missions, XP, goal activity, and other app progress information
• Information needed to create AI-generated images and monthly videos

Future You does not intentionally include your email address, Apple ID, payment or card information, or device identifiers in the AI requests it sends.

This information is processed only as needed to provide the AI-powered features you use, such as:

• Future You conversations
• AI Wealth Coach
• Personalized goals and scenarios
• AI-generated portraits and Vision Board images
• Reflections, letters, and personalized messages
• The monthly Future You video
• Other personalized AI experiences

Before any of your personal information is sent to Lovable or Google for AI processing, Future You asks for your explicit permission on the “AI Data Sharing” screen. If you choose “Not Now,” AI requests containing your information are blocked, and AI features stay off until you grant permission.

You can change or revoke this permission at any time in Profile → Preferences → Personalization → Privacy → AI Data Sharing. Revoking permission stops future AI requests containing your information unless you grant permission again. Content already created remains in your account until you delete it.

Payment processing is handled by our payment provider. We do not store full payment card details on our servers. We retain limited subscription metadata (plan, status, renewal date) to operate your account.

Future You keeps its own usage and performance records to operate the service, understand feature usage, enforce plan limits, diagnose problems, and improve the app. Future You does not use a third-party advertising or analytics network, and these records are not used for targeted advertising.

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and secure the app. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Future You relies on service providers for authentication, storage, payment processing, AI processing, and email delivery. On iOS, subscription payments are processed by Apple. AI requests are processed by Lovable Labs Incorporated and Google LLC as described in “AI Service Providers” above. These providers process data on our behalf and are required under their applicable agreements and terms to protect personal data in line with applicable privacy and security requirements. Their handling of data is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Future You also uses Openverse to provide optional stock-image search for Vision Board features. When you use this search, the search terms you enter may be sent to Openverse to return matching images. Future You does not send your account details, uploaded photos, or financial information to Openverse for this purpose.

We distinguish between the following kinds of records:

• Stored by Future You. Your account, goals, financial-planning entries, reflections, conversations, AI memory, uploaded photos, and AI-generated content (text, images, and monthly videos) are stored in Future You’s own database and private storage for as long as your account is active, so you can view them in the app.
• AI request processing by Lovable. AI requests pass through Lovable’s AI Gateway to reach Google. Lovable processes the request content to deliver it and keeps usage and billing records (for example time, model, and amount of usage). Retention of request content by Lovable is governed by Lovable’s terms.
• AI processing by Google. Google processes the request to produce the AI result. Retention and use of that data by Google are governed by Google’s applicable terms for these services.
• Usage, billing, and diagnostic records. Future You keeps records of AI feature usage (such as feature name, model, amount of usage, timing, and whether the request succeeded) to enforce plan limits, operate the service, and control costs. These records do not include your prompts or photos.

You can delete uploaded photos and generated images from your Profile. To delete your account and associated data, use the account deletion option in the app or email support@futureyouai.app. When your account is deleted, we remove your personal data and generated content from our active systems, subject to limited legal or operational retention requirements.

Future You uses reasonable security practices to protect user information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and routine monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Future You is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can exercise many of these rights directly in the app or by contacting us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate. If a change requires renewed permission for AI Data Sharing, Future You will ask for your permission again before personal information is shared under the updated AI disclosure.
